Travel/Cruise Agent Job Opportunity
Job Purpose:
We are seeking an energetic Travel Counselor to arrange and sell all types of travel needs including cruise, international and domestic travel arrangements, luxury tour, air, car, and hotel reservations. The individual should be a self-starter, organized, have excellent customer service skills and cruise selling experience.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years selling travel services
- Cruise selling experience required.
- Qualified ARC Specialist or the ability to become qualified
- Extensive leisure travel selling background
- Candidate must possess strong consultative selling skills, decisive and successful problem solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to use the Internet effectively.
- Candidate must be self-motivated and have the ability to work within a team with cross-functional organizations.
- Able to multifunction under high pressure situations.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- PC literacy, GDS, cruise reservation and CRM database knowledge (ClientBase a plus)
- SABRE experience a plus
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
Compensation commensurate with experience and responsibilities.
